The purpose of this policy
Scope
This policy applies to all individuals working at all levels and grades, including senior managers, officers, directors, employees (whether permanent, fixed term, or temporary), consultants, contractors, trainees, seconded staff, homeworkers, casual workers, agency staff, volunteers, interns, agents, sponsors, or any other person associated with us, or any of our subsidiaries or their employees, wherever located.
Policy
Gifts and Hospitality
This policy does not prohibit standard and appropriate hospitality or the giving/receiving of a nominal gift if it is customary, reasonable, and not intended to influence the recipient.
Record-Keeping
Monofix will keep financial records and have appropriate internal controls in place, which will evidence the business reason for making payments to third parties.
Training
Monofix will provide training on this policy to all employees, ensuring that its anti-bribery commitments are understood and respected.
Responsibility
Responsibility for the policy lies with the Board of Directors of Monofix. All staff are responsible for adhering to the policy and are encouraged to raise concerns about malpractice as soon as possible.
Reporting Violations
If anyone believes or suspects that a conflict with this policy has occurred or may occur, they must notify their line manager or report it through our Whistleblowing Policy.
Protection
Individuals who refuse to accept or offer a bribe, or those who raise concerns or report another’s wrongdoing, are sometimes worried about repercussions. Monofix aims to encourage openness and will support anyone who raises genuine concerns in good faith, even if mistaken.
Review
This policy will be reviewed regularly and may be amended at any time.
